Photography webpage [link]

I mentioned this maybe a month ago, but I was planning on making a webpage for myself to showcase specifically my photography on a more personal level than dA (where, lets face it, one really has little chance of getting noticed). Coincidentally (not really), I got my own little area in a domain as a Christmas present from my dear sister and have been working on the webpage as much as I could amongst the overwhelming amount of university work.

It's not finished and probably never will be since I'm never happy with aything, but the main thing is that it's UP and running! Finally!

It will work both as a gallery and contain updates on photoshoots&projects etc. and also as a blog of sorts, if there is something to say in relation to the shoots or something. Also, you can choose to register as a subscriber if you want (totally free) to know what I'm up to.

Photoshoot-project ON HOLD

My element project, which will follow the patterns from games, so ice-fire-water-earth-air-thunder-time and perhaps later on (with a huge budget..) Ultima-Holy-Demi.

The main idea is to make personifications of the elements and show them with colours and items that are attributes to them. I also want to include some jewelry or other accessory to each image to it gets a bit more texture and a fashion aspect to it all. If it's available I will include some extra effect to as many pictures as I can, as for instance using a smoke machine.

Anyway, it might take a long time to complete the series (we students don't have that much money...) and thus my style might change along the way, but I shall try to do as many as I can. Anyway, I have now found models for most of the main elements, but I still need to think about some of them or reconsider some models. But I need more male models.... I can't keep using my own boyfriend all the time.. Btw,why do I surround myself with women even though people say I'm a woman-hater? xD

So I'll update these as we get some progress.

Cosplay list of the past and future

*Cardiopathy and I have recently come to the decision that our interest in cosplaying has slowly been fading away to the point where we rarely have costumes on ourselves and just take photos of our friends. We've mostly lost interest in that as well since most cosplayers we know do not share the vision we have of more artistic and advanced photoshoots. Not saying that's bad, every person has a right to treat this lovely hobby in whichever way they want, but we personally want to go for more professional photography from now on and cosplay does not provide proper subjects at the moment. So, we'll probably finish some of the more epic cosplays or the ones that are very dear to us during the next couple of years, before we retire from cosplaying. Sad to say that, but we all have to stop at some point and move on to more important things in life. Although Cardiopathy is still determined to cosplay FFX Auron once he hits 30
